Recently, the FDA approved an innovative therapy for gout, Krystexxa. This medication is extremely effective and fast acting to treat this condition when it is resistant to normal therapies. It is especially effective if one has nodules or "tophus", accumulations of gout crystals, found in the ears, elbows, hands and feet among other regions.
As principle investigators in the FDA trials, our physicians have unique and extensive experience with the proper indications and expected response to treatment as well as side effects and proper monitoring involved.
